GENERAL TERMS
www.ygeias-merimna.gr makes every effort every day to provide the company's customers with the most effective service possible. The e-shop that is being created is aimed at all internet users who wish to be immediately informed about the products we offer and the possibility of making purchases through the e-shop, following a remote online order, always subject to the adequacy of the company's stocks. These terms are fully compatible with current European and Greek law, while users acknowledge the company's right to change provisions of these terms, to the extent that they do not concern its binding legal obligations and without affecting fait accomplis. The user of the website acknowledges that he has read these terms, agrees with them and undertakes to comply with them. For us, the customer is our obligation to always be informed and secured. For this reason, we inform the customers of our online store about the following issues:
1. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
In order to carry out any transaction through the online store of www.ygeias-merimna.gr to order the company's products, you will be asked to provide some of your personal information. When you place an order, we will ask you for your full name, the address to which the products will be sent, your landline phone number (or any other phone number you wish) and your email address. This data is processed by the company in accordance with the application of article 7A par. 1 (b) of Law 2472/1997, for the purpose of implementing the order placed by the customer and will not be disclosed, made public or sold to third parties in any way, unless the procedure prescribed by the legislation for the lifting of confidentiality (Law 2225/1994) or any obligations arising from the national implementation of Directive 24/2006 is initiated.
2. SAFETY
On the Website www.ygeias-merimna.gr, during the credit card payment process, you are transferred to the Piraeus Bank system for secure online commercial transactions. To protect your electronic transactions, the E-Commerce Service provided is compatible with the security protocols of international Card Organizations (Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode). In this way, all information is encrypted so that it cannot be read or changed during transmission over the Internet.
3. ORDERING PRODUCTS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION
Placing an order through the e-shop constitutes the conclusion of a distance sales contract regulated by the legislative framework of Law 2251/1994, as amended. You have the possibility of concluding a valid order through the e-shop, provided that you are legally competent in accordance with the articles of the Greek Civil Code (provided that you have reached the age of eighteen and are not under legal guardianship with regard to the conclusion of a sales contract). Orders can also be placed by representatives of legal entities, while the company reserves the right to claim from the supervisor or guardian any orders placed by legally incapable persons.
4. ORDERING PROCEDURE THROUGH E-SHOP:
For the convenience and service of all those who wish to purchase from our online store, www.ygeias-merimna.gr offers you the following alternative payment methods:
● Cash on delivery of the product (valid only for consumers within Greece) at a cost of 2.50 euros.
● Payment by credit card / Debit card / Prepaid card
● Deposit to an account of Piraeus Bank, National Bank and Alphabank
When the consumer chooses bank deposit as a payment method and has not made the deposit within 3 working days, the order will be canceled and the consumer will be informed by email. The prices listed in the relevant lists under each product include VAT, while www.ygeias-merimna.gr reserves the right to adjust the prices without being obliged to inform the consumer public.
Note: a) Customers outside the European Union are subject to any financial charges due to differences in exchange rates, customs clearance, etc. for which the company bears no responsibility. b) Customers who choose a bank deposit as a payment method must make the deposit within three (3) days, otherwise the order will be automatically canceled. c) Orders from customers who have orders in their history that they refused to receive and were returned to www.ygeias-merimna.gr with the indication NOT INTERESTED by the courier company, will be accepted only after a bank deposit.
5. SHIPPING METHOD – TIME – COST
Product deliveries are made through the company ACS COURIER or INTRALINK Transport within 1-3 business days, except for inaccessible areas of mainland and island Greece where it may take 3-5 business days.
Shipping costs are 4 euros for orders up to 15 kilos.
In the event that your order is shipped to a difficult-to-reach area, according to the criteria of the shipping company, or a large volume order whose weight exceeds 15 kilos, there is an additional shipping charge for which you will be informed by phone.
For purchases over 100 euros, shipping is free. Orders placed Monday through Friday are processed immediately. Orders placed Saturday & Sunday are processed on Monday.
When completing your order, you choose which payment method you wish:
– Cash on delivery with a charge of 2.50 euros
– Credit card / Debit card / Prepaid card
– Deposit into a bank account (any bank charges are borne by the customer).
6. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Although the description of our products is detailed and you can form a complete picture of the product, as we try to render the colors in the photos as accurately as possible, you may eventually find that it is not what you wanted upon delivery. In this case, www.ygeias-merimna.gr gives you the opportunity to return the product within eight (8) calendar days of receipt and replace it with another product of your choice. If the other product you chose is not available, we will refund the value of the product by depositing it into your bank account or the amount will be credited to be used in any new order you wish. The new shipment/replacement of the product is at the expense of the customer, regardless of the amount of their order, and is only done with our partner couriers (ACS COURIER, INTRALINK Transport). Exceptions are defective products or an error in the order due to the company's fault. If you wish to cancel part or all of your order after receiving the products, you can return the product or products within eight (8) calendar days and we will refund your money by depositing it into your bank account. In the event of a refund, you are responsible for the costs of returning the product. The value of the cash on delivery and shipping is not refunded. All returns are made in the original condition of the product, without damage so that it can be sold again. We recognize that you will want to try the products to confirm whether they satisfy you. Taking this into account, please be careful not to damage the original packaging and not to cause damage to the products by trying them. The product must be returned with the accompanying material that was originally in the packaging (tags, pouches, etc.). The customer is obliged to immediately check the product received and to inform about any defect or damage during transportation on the day of receipt or at the latest the next day. After this time period, the customer accepts the product and any damage caused later is his responsibility. In case the above conditions are not met, the return is not accepted, the return costs are borne by the customer, for the re-sending of the products to his place, who will be responsible for the loss, destruction or deterioration of the returned products until their receipt. For any product return, please initially notify us by phone at 2313041364 or via e-mail at [email protected]. If you wish to cancel the order during the electronic order process, you can click "cancel" and the order process is automatically interrupted. After completing the online order and before shipping the products, contact us via www.ygeias-merimna.gr or by phone at 2313041364 and your order will be canceled immediately.
It is clarified that our products are hygienic and care must be taken in their use.
For hygiene reasons, our company does not accept returns on hygiene items, unless they are defective.
Returns are accepted for the purpose of replacing a defective product on promotional products. However, exchanges are not accepted.
7. DISCLAIMER
www.ygeias-merimna.gr is not liable for any kind of damage to the user/customer (positive or negative), including but not limited to any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damage that may arise from any access, use or inability to use the website, delay or inability to provide services or information, from any third-party interventions in products or services or information available through it, including any damage from any virus transmission to the user's electronic equipment.
8.MISCELLANEOUS
Applicable law - Jurisdiction of Courts
These terms and conditions of use are governed by Greek law.
Force majeure
If for reasons of force majeure (e.g. bad weather conditions, strikes, etc.) it is not possible to deliver the products to you within the specified time, we will inform you via e-mail. www.ygeias-merimna.gr bears no responsibility for any situation beyond its own fault and will do everything humanly possible to best serve you.
Amendment of the terms hereof
www.ygeias-merimna.gr reserves the right to modify or renew the terms and conditions of transactions. The company undertakes the obligation to update this text for any change or addition to the terms.
